Award Winning Eyam Map and CD
what we've won and what good work has followed

  When first launched in 2000, the wonderful Eyam map project won the coveted first prize in the Derbyshire Greenwatch Awards, against very stiff competition from many other environmental projects. In 2006 the CD ROM which was launched to complement the map was commended. From its launch in July 2005 until November 2006 over 800 CDs have been sold- that's impressive because Eyam is just a village.

   Of the money raised so far, £2,000 has been spent on new public benches around the village, another £2,000 will go towards a disabled ramp for the village hall, and also £1,000 towards a childrens play area.
