The Roses of Eyam, by Don Taylor, adapted by Nicola Wright

From the 15th to 18th July 2009 in Eyam village itself, starting at 7 pm, a new adaptation by Nicky Wright of Don Taylor's play about Eyam 1665 and its heroic efforts to keep the plague at bay. They will be all ticket performances at various sites within the historic village of Eyam. Box office at Eyam Hall, 01433 631976 or at Buxton Opera House, 0845 127 2190.

*** EXTRA *** Sunday 30th August - 2.30 pm, Plague Commemoration Service Open Air Service including procession from Church to Cucklet Delf and featuring a costume tableau from today's villagers in honour of the bravery of their forebears. All welcome.
